The invention provides a preparation method of compounded resin of alkylphenol-phenolic resin and phenol formaldehyde resin. The preparation method includes the steps of adding alkylphenol-phenolic resin and phenol formaldehyde resin into a synthetic reactor, increasing the temperature to 150-200 DEG C, and stirring the resins to fully mix the resins uniformly under a molten status to prepare the compounded resin. The compounded resin is lower than 1% in content of residual free phenol and is 85-140 DEG C in softening point. The compounded resin can be used as an adhesive resin in tire additives, can be used for replacing resorcinol resin, is low in cost and content of free phenol, and is simple in process.
