The defining feature of the enhanced tesa Softprint Secure Family is its revolutionary adhesive system that has been specially developed to securely mount and maintain position of flexographic plates for the duration of the print process. Because of this new adhesive system, the tesa Softprint Secure products are able to resist edge lifting, even on the smallest cylinders and sleeves, regardless of plate thickness, and run at speeds only limited by the press itself! Furthermore, a recent technological breakthrough by the tesa Research & Development group has resulted in an adhesive system that is extremely resistant to solvents, particularly when compared to other products on the market. With this breakthrough technology, cleaning plates while on press will no longer cause edge lifting due to compromised adhesive systems of the plate mounting tape.
