Eastman Unveils VersaMax, a Non-phthalate Plasticizer in Europe
KINGSPORT, Tenn., -- Eastman Chemical Company announced that it has expanded its non-phthalate plasticizer portfolio with the addition of Eastman VersaMax plasticizer for the European market. VersaMax is an innovative solution that provides improved dry times, better efficiency, and a broader formulation window when compared to traditional ortho-phthalate and other non-phthalate options.
“Consumer and regulatory pressures continue to encourage brand owners and manufacturers of flexible PVC products to move to non-phthalate solutions for their products,” said Martin Stimpson, market development manager of plasticizers, Eastman Chemical Company. “Manufacturers are looking for a non-phthalate plasticizer that provides optimal performance with a minimal amount of reformulating. VersaMax was designed to satisfy even the most demanding processing.”
Eastman invites attendees and members of the media to visit table 3 at the PVC Formulation conference in Cologne, Germany, March 17 and 18 to learn more about VersaMax. Jesus Moralez, market development manager, plasticizers, will also deliver a presentation at the show discussing enhanced terephthalate plasticizers for formulating PVC plastisols and compounds. On display at the Eastman table in the Expo will be the full range of Eastman non-phthalate plasticizer products, the broadest such offering on the market today.
