Electrolube Gets Recognition for its Silver Conductive Adhesive at Nepcon China
Electrolube, one of the leading manufacturers of specialist chemicals for the electronics, automotive and industrial manufacturing industries, announced that its Silver Conductive Adhesive (SCA) has won the 9th SMT China Vision Award, presented during Nepcon China 2015. Here the industry congratulated Electrolube in the ‘Innovation Products & Services in SMT’ category for the highly flexible and very fast curing Silver Conductive Adhesive, which has met with considerable success among manufacturers of touchscreen products, as well as the semiconductor industry where SCA is predominantly used for chip bonding.
A panel of well-known SMT experts nominated Electrolube’s SCA for its ultra-fast dry-time, ease of application and superior conductivity. The intermediate temperature setting adhesive cures rapidly within 90 seconds at 110°C and provides highly effective bonding strength, very low surface insulation resistance and excellent electrical and thermal conductivity properties. The silver conductive adhesive also features very low ion content of Cl-, Na+, K+ and offers exceptional flexibility and elasticity, maximizing buffering for different bonding surfaces to fully enable reliable protection of components.
The SMT Vision Awards, organized by SMT China, serve as a benchmark of excellence and recognize the industry’s leading innovations in technology, efficiency, environmental benefits and quality for the Surface Mount Assembly sector. Winning products were judged specifically on their creativity, advanced nature and contribution to helping the industry reduce cost, improve quality, increase efficiency, enhance reliability, ensure safety and protect the environment.
The new adhesive was launched by Electrolube during the second half of 2014 and became an instant success with designers and manufacturers of liquid crystal displays (LCDs) and liquid crystal monitors (LCMS) to improve the efficiency of their manufacturing processes.
